a contented sigh
There are few things in life I love to do more than to drink wine and listen to my ipod and edit photos all at the same time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!!!!!!
I just can't believe that my baby boy is 6 years old today. Time has gone by so so fast. I can remember every detail of that day..and the night before..and the day before that... LOL He didn't want to come out. He is at school right now..later today we are going out to dinner. He already opened his presents. Today he got a basketball and Wii Playground. We let him open his other presents on the day of his party - we gave him a huge set of Geo Trax and the GeoTrax airport. I knew he was getting other Geo Trax at his party so I wanted him to be able to use it right away.
Here he is 6 years ago today, October 16, 2002 Born at 4:58 pm 7 pounds 12 ounces, 21 inches long

Here is me, 6 years ago today. So tired but so happy.

My last post on the subject
I am not sure who I have a harder time listening to - John McCain or Sarah Palin. I really have a visceral reaction to McCain. Can't stand him. Palin - well, I am sure she is very nice and all, but to listen to her as a vp candidate... it's somewhere between funny and scary.
McCain can't, won't and shouldn't win.
One of the many reasons why is Sarah Palin. Really? He looked at all the possibilites and this was the decision? I might add, what on earth is the mother of a five-month-old infant doing running for national office? Go home and take care of your baby. Come back when he is older. (Well, not Palin... but maybe someone more qualified!
Though I am not a big fan of Obama, I think he will win and I think it will be a good thing for the country and the world. Whether or not he can bring REAL and POSITIVE change remains to be seen, but the very fact that people BELIEVE that he can and will might be enough, and that would be a good thing for the US and the world.
I myself am not voting for either one. I plan to vote for Ron Paul.
As far as the bail out ... oy vey... a necessary evil I think at this point but it sure does piss me off. Not really a whole lot else to say about it honestly. Generally speaking I am a free-market sort of person.. but I think things are just so bad that some action has to be taken.

Are you kidding me?
This is the headline I just read:
Investors give bailout plan ho-hum reception
You have got to be kidding me. Hey, investors, if you don't like that 700 billion of our dollars, how about this then?
GO FUCK YOURSELVES!

I like this
Bitter are the tears of a child: Sweeten them.
Deep are the thoughts of a child: Quiet them.
Sharp is the grief of a child: Take it from him.
Soft is the heart of a child: Do not harden it.

loose tooth!
Andrew's tooth is loose. This is big news. Unfortunately, I thought I had more time and never bought a tooth fairy pillow. Now it's too late to order one, and I am searching central Florida for one. I have tried several stores with no luck. There is a boutique-y type place I am going to try this afternoon. I really want one that is gender-neutral that I can use for all 3 kids, and put their name and tooth-loss dates on the back... but at this point I will take what I can get. I thought about going to JoAnns and making one.... but... I dont know.
Anyway if you have any ideas, let me know!!!
